I don’t want to write a senior signature and this is primarily because I’m not a big fan of people reading my writing in general. I have spent this entire year in Hawk Tawk writings stories I wish I could keep to myself; and given that the class is geared towards writing, this has been quite a struggle. That’s not to say that I didn’t enjoy the class overall or that I didn’t learn a ton from my experiences, but it was certainly a learning process.
People always tell you to “leave your comfort zone,” but that can be really hard and the struggles that follow as you push your limits can be draining and make you want to give up. I’m not going to be cliché and tell you to “just push through” or “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” etc., but I will say this: if you feel like pushing your limits, do it. Go for it–chances are you’ll thank yourself later. And by later I mean the end of the year or even several years into the future. You really don’t know until you give it a shot.
